Washing the textile only removes the actives that the yarn has already released, while the Bi-Ko™ yarns continuously replenish the surface with new actives.
NoBugs NoBites™ Anti-Bed Bug Mattress Covers are infused with an insecticide formulation made by dissolving beta-cyfluthrin in piperonyl butoxide. This safe formulation has a rapid killing action and is specifically designed to target insecticide-resistant bed bugs. NoBugs NoBites™ Anti-Bed Bug Mattress Covers are breathable and provide continuous protection for up to 2 years or 20 washes.
Instructions for use
Keep the NoBugs NoBites™ mattress cover in the provided ziplock bag when stored. Fit the mattress with the NoBugs NoBites™ Anti-Bed Bug Mattress cover directly around the mattress. A waterproof mattress protector and other bedding can be used over the anti-bed bug mattress cover. The cover can be cold machine-washed up to 20 times and remains effective to protect against bed bugs and other bugs. The cover should be replaced every 2 years after the date of use. Prolonged exposure of product directly on the skin may cause skin irritation. Ensure that the product is always covered with a conventional fitted sheet during use.

The Results
A full copy of the independent test report is available upon request. The NoBugs NoBites™ textile was exposed to Cimex lectularius bed bugs for 4 hours. The number of bed bugs knocked down (moribund) was recorded 30 minutes after exposure. The number of bed bugs killed was recorded 24 hours after exposure. 
It is important to note that bed bugs recorded as “live” continue to be in a knocked-down state, i.e. they are in a moribund state with little or no capacity to parasitise humans. In real-life applications, the knocked-down bed bugs will continue to be exposed to the NoBugs Nobites™ anti-Bed Bug Mattress Cover and will die in less than 24 hours.
